Carrie Benton of Marling Homeworks, Hwy 14, Janesville.  Marling has been in business since 1904.  They are a one stop shop for everything in your home, and can help with new construction and remodeling.  Marling has 7 full time kitchen and bath designers on staff and 4 lumber consultants.  Marling Homeworks is a member because they are concerned with our industry and it's growth in southern Wisconsin, and feel as members, we can help make a difference with the builders in this area.  It's a great group of people to work with!

Ruth Farrington is also with Marling Homeworks, and is one of 7 kitchen and bath designers on staff.  Ruthie has also been active with SCWBA in the past as an employee of Total Concept & Design.  Ruthie is involved with SCWBA for the networking and to support the local building industry.

Frank Tower owns Tower Designs, 6811 Thornapple Drive in Janesville.  Frank is an architectural designer, primarily as a home designer, home remodeling designer and does some commercial designing.  For new home customers, he offers books of plans.  Franks has been in business for 35 years and works with local builders and people planning a new home or remodel.  Frank belongs to SCWBA because his work is directly related to the construction industry and to builders that are SCWBA members.  "It is beneficial to have this contact and membership keeps me current on changes to our industry".

The information regarding prospective member applicants is printed in two consecutive issues of this newsletter per SCWBA By-Laws. We encourage all current members to review this list of applicants, and to voice any comments regarding any applicants becoming part of this organization to the Executive Officer or SCWBA Board of Directors within that two month period. After that, the SCWBA Board of Directors review the application and votes.
