The South Central Wisconsin Builders Association awards scholarships each spring to local area (Rock County) graduating high school seniors pursuing a career in a building related field.  2010 Scholarship recipients shown include (left to right):
Jay Naatz, Alex Evenson, Ryan Coleman and Lucas Comstock. 

Jay Naatz, son of Tom & Terri Naatz, graduated from Parkview HS in Orfordville.  Jay is pursuing a degree in both Construction and Golf Enterprise Management at UW Stout. His father Tom owns Naatz Construction.

Alex Evenson, son of Jeff & Jenny Evenson graduated from Milton HS.  He will be attending UW-Stout to obtain a degree in Construction Management.  His father Jeff owns Evenson Builders. 

Ryan Coleman, son of John & Debbie Coleman graduated from Craig HS.  Ryan will be attending Blackhawk Tech to study Electrical Power Distribution.  Ryan was a student with the Advanced Construction Class and helped buld the 2009-2010 Student Build home.

Lucas Comstock, son of Jim & Libbie Comstock graduated from Parker HS and will attend UW-Stout to obtain a degree in Construction Management.  Lucas has grown up learning and working in the construction business with his father, Jim Comstock, owner of JC Builders.  Lucas was also a student in the Advanced Construction Class that helped build the 2009-2010 Student Build Home.

Bringing food to the Annual HOME SHOW is an alternative to paying admission.  Food received is donated to the local Salvation Army.















The Parade of Lights is held during the month of December at Traxler Park. The event accepted donations from the community to benefit Rock County Habitat for Humanity.  Throughout the years, approximately $18,000 has been raised for this worthwhile organization.
