This empty nester couple wanted a dream kitchen and living areas with that open feeling. They certainly accomplished that! We removed the wall between the kitchen and family room to make the area a wonderful gathering space for family and friends. Now the owners are able to socialize with their guests while cooking and preparing in the kitchen. With some creative engineering and a huge steel beam, we were able to open up the three-season sunroom and turn it into additional family room space. The family room features beautiful maple hardwood floors, Pella Designer Series windows, new cherry bookcases on either side of the existing brick fireplace, and a plasma TV above a new mantle.

The new gourmet kitchen features cherry cabinetry with raised panel doors, an island cook top, raised snack bar, and a boxed out kitchen window. The Cambria and granite countertops compliment one another. The remodeled powder bath features a vanity cabinet suspended from the wall with a translucent sink basin and accent lighting below. Twenty inch square ceramic tile floors were installed through the kitchen, powder bath, front entry, laundry room and hallway.
